Default OEL, Shattenkirk, Ghost: pick 2

Salary cap, keeper league... cats: G,A,PPG,PPA,Shots,+/-
I need to decide which 2 of these 3 to protect - Shattenkirk ($6.65), OEL ($5.5) or Ghost ($4.5).
    Thoughts?

OEL And Ghost for me. Points wise next year I think it goes OEL > Shatty > Ghost, but I think Ghost will trend upwards and outperform Shattenkirk from 2018 onwards.

By considering your stats it is a based on offensive categories and then add on the +/- category

    So I would rank them:

    OEL
    Shattenkirk
    Ghost

The $2 million dollar value difference between Shattenkirk and Ghost is not enough for me to keep Ghost over Shattenkirk. I am nervous that Ghost gets surpassed on the PP by a more well-rounded player in Provorov.

    OEL and Shattenkirk for me.

That's a lot of cake for Shattenkirk IMO, but having two separate power play categories sways me that he's safer than Ghost for a relatively modest bump in salary.

OEL and Gostisbehere for me. Heck in a non cap league I would probably make this choice too.

Definitely OEL and Fhost I'm in a cap league and own both and I would not trade either for shattenkirk.

I'm wary of Ghost getting passed by Provorov or eventually one of the 4000 strong offensive D prospects that Philly has.
Shattenkirk is proven and OEL will bounce back in a big way this year with the rejuvenated Coyotes.

Agreed with this - OEL is a no brainer, and Ghost is the sexy pick but give me Shatty.

For those who have reservations about Ghost. A couple of things to keep in mind.

-Was a rookie of the year nominee a couple years ago.

-If not for terrible coaching decisions would have put up 50+ last year easily.

-The Flyers were a much better offense driving team with Ghost on the ice, last season, than with him off the ice.

-He's only 24 and he's already on of the smoothest skating and lethal PP qb's in the NHL.

-Was on a 50 point pace the last 3rd of 16'-17'.

Don't let the coaches poor decisions sway you away from this guy. Now is the time to swoop in and grab him. Like I did. For a much lower price.

Healthy scratching your best offensive dman and hurting his confidence and your teams chances of success in the process.
    Ghost drove offense.
He scored 40 points in a down year.
That's why he's listed on almost everyone's bounce back list.

    Healthy scratches?

Do you think he just scratched him for no good reason? Gostisbehere was terrible defensively for quite a while and the only reason he played in as many games as he did was because of his offensive abilities. He was terrible in his own end and that's why he was getting scratched. I hate to tell you this but Dave Hakstol isn't playing fantasy hockey. He's trying to win games and when one of your D is as bad as Gostisbere was defensively last year, he's lucky he played as many games as he did.

That's why he was getting scratched. If he's as bad this year, you can expect more of the same. There's a lot of good young D nipping at his heels for his icetime in that system.
