Default Adrian Beltre - 3000 Hits... is he a Hall of Famer?

3000 hits usually makes you a lock

    He's got 454 HR; 1607RBI and a .286 career average in 2770 games

that's an average of 23.89 hr; 82rbi per year.

This is one interesting player to watch in the years ahead once he becomes eligible... in a weak year, 5th/6th year of eligibility, maybe?

The way it goes with voting to get into Cooperstown... Who Knows! haha

But in all seriousness.... I think the numbers alone should make him a lock to be in.

feels like it would be an election of longevity more than him being a dominant player of his era

I think 3000 hits pretty much signs your ticket into Cooperstown. The fact he did it playing in the field every day and not as a DH only adds to voting opinions.

Good to see the support (here) for Beltre.
He's a fan favourite in the advance-numbers world as his fielding merits are all-universe, all-time.

I would be happy to see him go in. He seems like he's a great leader and clubhouse guy too.

I'm pretty sure 3,000 hits is an automatic ticket to CoopersTown unless you have other issues. Agree with his fielding also being well above average helps for sure.
The only 3,000 hitters not in the Hall of Fame are:

    Pete Rose- lifetime ban
    Derek Jeter- 1st ballot obviously
    Alex Rodriguez- PED issues
Ichiro Suzuki- active likely 1st ballot
    Rafael Palmeiro- PED issues.

Beltre may even have 2-3 more seasons left in him which would get him up into 3,200 hits.
12 team H-2-H 1 year league, daily roster changes, 3 goalie start minimum/week

G, A, P, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, Hits, W, SV%, GAA, SVs
    C: C. Keller, C. Mittelstadt, B. Nelson, R. Strome,

    RW: K. Fiala, J. Bratt, T. Jeannot V. Arvidsson

Definite HOFer in my eyes. Would love to see Andrus rush the stage during his induction speech and rub his head.

And obviously, there needs to be the ******* to accuse PED use.

To no one's surprise the accuser is a schlock-jock/clickbait artist. Doug Gottlieb is yet another Skip Bayless, Jason Whitlock, Stephen A. Smith wannabe, but sadly that's the state of sports talk nowadays.

In my biased Rangers loving heart he's a first ballot HOF'er. One of only four players to reach 3000+ hits, 650+ doubles, and 450+ hr. Musial, Aaron, and Yaz are the other three. 500 hr is theoretically possible if he hangs around another 2-3 years beyond this one, though it's likely a stretch to say he'll get that milestone. And oh yeah 5 Gold Gloves. HOF worthy.

Reality, he's probably more like a 2nd or 3rd ballot HOF'er. The best the anti-Beltre crowd has offered is to call him a compiler, and/or mention no MVP's or WS rings.
