    Default Rinne vs Lundqvist

Who would you take for this upcoming year only with wins, GAA, and SV% as the categories? Obviously Lundqvist had a brutal season last year but does he rebound with shattenkirk added to the mix? Typically his GAA and SV% are much better. Does anyone want to throw out any projections?

    Thanks!

I still take Lundqvist at this point. But I think it's relatively close and both should get between 32-35 wins .915% 5-6 SO

31 wins may have been OK, but his brutal 2.74 GAA and bad 0.910 SPct sure cost me my pool.

I have much more faith in Rinne going into next year.

I know I just want to take a playful jab, dude gets those wins though with the consistency.

Lol when you are expecting a 2.40 GAA or less and a 9.20 sv% and get 2.74 and 9.10, its a horrible year in my books. When you bomb 2/3 categories it hurts. Obviously this wasnt nearly as bad in a pure wins only league.

Seems like they are both somewhat equal with Rinne getting a slight edge. What if I added in Craig Anderson and Robin Lehner to this? With Wins/GAA/Sv% do you see a huge difference between any of them. Anderson and Lehner will be much easier to get and will allow me to upgrade elsewhere.

I'm with Luigi lol.. we can't expect any athlete to perform at the same level every year. There has to be a drop off....

I prefer Lundqvist here, as Pavelec is nowhere near the capable backup that is Saros and Nashville has shown no hesitation to play the latter. A timeshare could start as early as next year to keep Rinne for the playoffs, which Nashville should make if all things stay the same.
