I like Edmonton's outlook more than Montreal's...so I'd go Talbot with those settings.

Talbot should out produce him in wins the short term but I still want the best goalie in the league long-term. Can't really fault anyone on taking Talbot though, I know I take Talbot in a 1 year league

Wins and SO only is weirdly actually a no-brainer for Talbot, I think. If there was GAA and SV% it would be harder to choose.

Even though they're the same age, in a keeper league Talbot gets another bump as their teams are headed in opposite directions.

A full on consensus that the best goalie in fantasy hockey a few years ago is not the best pick here... I also go Talbot.

Does this mean it is a changing of the tides... or just that the format warrants a different type of goalie? OR both?

I assume if everyone here was creating a real NHL team it would still be Price > Talbot.

Those are by far Tablot's best categories - he probably wins in a squeaker in view of Montreal either limiting Price's starts or him getting hurt.
