What exactly is you question lol? No I wouldn't - he's your best player already after 1 year. There would be no reason to do so. If you have the offer, send it and we can take a look whether or not you should. He fits your cats nicely.

I wouldn't. Doesn't look like you have a team that can really compete. Keep your young superstar and add around him.

Well said. That ship on Holtby has sailed. Keep AW. Most of the league's cats favour (or seem to) F a little more than G. I'm not so sure however you have the players to upgrade at G. Look for a tier II goalie perhaps that might come cheap. Go fishing. Good luck.Originally Posted by Hunter9

I would just roll with Matthews and build around him. Future superstar and your team is young, don't see why you would move him unless there is a huge overpayment.

Stick with what you got and try and sell High on Kopitar a month or two into the season.

The offers you're getting should reinforce to you that Matthews is a player to build around. Be flattered but don't make the deals, and focus instead on continuing to intelligently rebuild.

I traded Karlsson for Matthews just as easy. Did so last season. Well... Kinda... Traded Karlsson for Eichel then immediately flipped Eichel for Matthews.
Point is... I really like Matthews and don't regret the trading of Karlsson to get him one bit after last season.
I'm with Stuntman... Keep Matthews and build around him.

I'd have no problem trading Matthews for Karlsson. I see the point for going either way I guess. If he has already added Ekholm as a sweetener I'd counter for a player that can offer more than him.
