Give a 2018 1st & Puljujarvi to get N. Patrick? Will REP!
Someone is open to moving Nolan Patrick in the second league in my signature, and I don't know if I should accept this. I know Patrick might be at his lowest ever buying point right now, but I'm also still a believer in Puljujarvi and that he can do well. What do you guys think here? Thinking the 1st rounder will be mid-round, so probably 6th-8th overall? Will REP for help. Thanks!

Nope, I would not give up a 1st round pick.
I think if Patrick and Puljujarvi were in the same draft year there would have been a huge debate on who is 1st or 2nd overall.
I think Patrick is buy-low right now depending on his owner because of the injury concerns. But I don't think that is buy low. Try turning the 1st round pick into a 2nd or 3rd.

Sounds good guys! I was thinking the same, but wanted to check. What about if I could get him down to Puljujarvi and a third? It's so hard to gauge what Patrick is at this point, I feel. Do I get scared of Puljujarvi's sucky start last year, or excited that he might play with McDavid for a bunch of years?

Yeah give it up man. Puljujarvi is more valuable than Patrick IMO and it should be the other way around where he had to add Patrick + for Puljujarvi.

I like Puljujarvi more than Patrick, and I don't think this is a good time to buy Patrick. He was just drafted 2nd overall, and that's probably where the other GM drafted him as well. You're not buying low right now, you're paying 2nd overall price for a guy who isn't all that great of a 2nd overall guy. Try targeting someone else instead.
