Dubois, in my opinion, is going to be given every opportunity to be the 1C in Columbus. I also think he is a sure fire NHLer. Low end 65pts 2nd liner. High end 75pts 1st liner. Considering his competition is Wennberg and Jarmo Kekelainen hand picked him over Pulj, his chances of playing 1st line with Panarin is very realistic. I like the Benn comparisons, and if you have a chance to steal him from another GM, if the price is reasonable go for it.
So do we think he cracks the lineup this season?
I am going for it and don't have space to park him in reserves, so need production this year (even if minimal). I can flip Lindblom for him, but like Lindy to step right in in Philly.

IIRC, it's between PLD, Sedlak, and Schroeder for the 3C role. Jenner is a possibility but he only took 184 faceoffs last year. However, the assumptions that he's going to offer strong competition for a Centre position in the NHL seem like a bit of a stretch, seeing as he didn't even play this past full junior season at centre. Perhaps gets some games to start he season but spends another junior season at Centre to prime him for the NHL job. I could be wrong about how much he's playing Centre in junior, but if he's got #1C potential in the NHL, doesn't he need to be playing that position more regularly?
