    Hi all, newbie here.

what y'all think of this trade offer.

I was offered Dylan strome on Arizona and Ivan Proverov on Flyers for Voracek on Flyers and Shattenkrik on nyr and Tjohnson on Tampa.

Those are both nice young pieces. But definitely don't think you need to give up 3 solid producing NHLers.

Prov holds more value in a multicat, where Shattenkirk is great for points only. Pass for me.

Sounds like an unnecessary trade that will set you back a couple years. What exactly is enticing about his offer?

Both are good young pieces and looking at your lineup it looks like your building for the future instead of the present. That being said I think you need to ask for a little more since your giving proven nhl commodities for prospects that have a risk of not living up to expectations and the unknown of how long until they do become contributors. So as the current offer stands-PASS respectively

First off....Welcome to the forums... such a great community for advice.

And as I said a great community for advice... the advice about is spot on... you are giving up too much proven NHL production.

I think you could rework it and trade Voracek and Johnson for both those players.

Welcome to the forums. Like others have said, you are giving up 3 big pieces for 2 good young pieces, not getting enough value

thanks all for the quick advice, what if i added Marshessault from his side, i see him as a younger equal to Johnson.

Easy pass for me. Looking at you team, you lose big time!

Voracek has 70+ upside. I think 60-65 is a reasonable estimate. Strome won't hit those numbers, if at all for at least 3 years.

Shattenkirk >>>> Provorov in a points only league.

Marchessault has yet to prove that he can do what TJ has already done. It will be hard for him to prove it on LV.

Bad, bad... bad, bad, bad deal for you.

That's a terrible offer for you. I would counter D. Strome and Ivan for T. Johnson and Shatt

Still don't like it. You're trading Vora Shatty and Johnson for players you hope become players like Vora Shatty and Johnson one day.

Keep the established players, avoid the risk.
