That's a pretty solid idea for the price. Hedman also usually misses a few more games.
Stone and Hamonic just got brought in too and they can handle a lot more of the defensive minutes.
Hey,
I'm looking to shave some cap and was thinking of possibly offering Hedman for Hamilton.
Thoughts?
My other Defenders are Risto, Klingberg, Gudas, Nurse and McNabb

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I'm a huge Hamilton fan and have raised my flag re Hedman and his pp production with Stamkos returning so to save that sort of money makes it a no brainier for me
Experience is the teacher of all things.
From where I sit, you would be making a good trade, although you should be able to get a sweetener added - that is, you should be able to get another asset back from the player who'll be receiving Hedman.

I prefer Hedman to Hamiliton but in a cap league, this makes sense.

With your cats, it's pretty split down the middle with these two. If Heds is going to recede in points (ppp) as other's have mentioned, then this is a good deal for you. I too would ask for an extra piece coming your way or a swap in picks etc.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
This is a good trade to make to shave cap space.
Go for it, looks like a great idea for your setup.
If this was not a cap league though Hedman would still be the better choice.
I like Hedman more than Hamilton, but in a cap league I'd prefer Dougie.
I prefer Hedman apples to apples but to shave off that cap space this looks to be an advantageous move for you. Like others have said, no harm in asking for a little sweetener on top, especially with Hedman's stellar performance last season.
