Favor Buchnevich a little bit here (if it's Evgeni). Had some ups and downs last season, back injury, healthy scratches, sent down, moved up and down the lineup, and still produced 20 pts in 41 games. He should be taking a step forward from last season.

I am going to go against the grain here and say Svechnikov. I really like him in a multi-cat format and think the lack of depth in Detroit allows him to be a better asset than Buchnevich, who is battling with a lot of depth around him.
Points only, it gets closer for me but at this point, I am not sure I will see that much of a difference between them.
I do agree that Svechnikov is probably another year away from making that full-time leap though so as long as you are willing to wait, he's my choice.

I like Svechnikov here too. He's a big boy with a big shot and fills a need for the Wings where Buch has a lot of guys around him (plus I never trust the Rangers in terms of young players long term).
