So I've been trying to get Ehlers for a while now, but no luck. Tonight I just got 3 offers from the Ehlers owner.

I receive: Ehlers, Hertl.

I don't like the third trade at all so that's off the table.
I prefer love how Pastrnak looked last year, and at only 21 he's hard to lose, but I see Ehlers with a similar ceiling and Hertl is a sweet addition since I anticipate him getting an increased role in SJ this season.
If Tavares wasn't a center I would prefer to move him over Pasta because I'm thin on centers as is. Again, I like either add on option of Hertl or Montour.
Thoughts? Should I punt FOW, trade Tavares and keep Pasta? Or Move Pasta?

Deal 3 is terrible, and I'd want more for Tavares than that offer. If you are hell bent on Ehlers, I agree trade A is the best approach.
I don't think you'll win this trade this season, maybe not next either. So if you are in win now, I'm not sure I'm crazy about it.
But beyond that, all the predictions are that this should swing your way.

Honestly, I'm not sold on Pastrnak hitting the 70 point threshold again. I would certainly put him in the 60 range, which puts him right alongside Ehlers. I would definitely take a chance on offer 1.

I like Pasta. But Bergeron and Krejci are getting older. That will affect his production. Marchand has been surprising the everliving heck out of me for 2 seasons now. I never expected him to score like this, but he is turning 30 soon.
Schiefele + Laine however are young and getting better and they will be stapled at the hip, benefiting Ehlers.
Ehlers and Pasta have similar upsides.
