Trading for Laine?
So I have some conversations going for Laine but the owner is kind of a hot head and I hate trying to negotiate with him because he simply is the worse. I am flirting the idea of asking if he would part with Laine for 1-2, 1-3. He owns 1-1. The top value for young players in this upcoming draft would mean I can potentially have 2 of Patrick, Hischier, Lehner with my picks. Is Laine worth that or should I just stand pat? I feel as though right now this offseason I have acquired some great assets and should probably just stop trading and roll into the draft with what I have.

If you want Laine go after him, see if he will bite on that. If not ask what he wants, probably cheapest opportunity to get him is right now. If you have to overpay - so be it. Ovi is on the down slope of his career.

I think your offer is a good starting place. As a Laine owner, it would take more than that (especially in a G-heavy league) but see what happens.
Honestly, if I were you, I'd be prepared to offer Kuznetzov plus one of those picks for Laine and keep Palat. Kuzy is good but Laine is a top 15 player in your league.
Plus, I don't think the difference between Palat and Kuzy is significant in your format.
