[SIGNING] Detroit signs Tatar to 4 year deal

Biggest difference is Johnson is a quality 2nd center that can matchup with the other team's top line, play the PP, and kill penalties. Tatar is a winger who hasn't really taken "the next step". It's not a horrible deal for the Wings, but it's not good either.

Can't argue with that. The issue is that the Wings don't have much else for scoring so they had to keep him and they also bought three UFA years.
