Where do you all see him fitting in next year?

I have looked at some projected lineups and he is nowhere to be found.

I would have thought that with the departure of Marleau that his status would have improved quite a bit. However the projected lineups have Boedker and Karlsson and Hansen all pencilled in above him in top six roles.

Will he play?

They got him top 6 on hfboards. Not exactly the most reliable source, but it seems it is a possibility.

I think he is a fairly safe lock for a top 9 spot with some PP time. But how it all shakes out is still very much up in the air.

Ok, so I'm glad there's a thread on him. Junior scoring star. Tore apart the AHL in a week, was called up and never went back.

Who has seen him play? Does he look like a top-6 guy or is he a tweener who shows flashes of brilliance together with bouts of inconsistency? To what kind of player does he compare in terms of style?

Labanc vs Meier points only for the next few seasons who's better?

I'm a fan of Meier and think he will be a star. So I'd pick him. But I think Labanc can produce well too. I'd take labanc next year but the next two meier

Meier for me... issue is the supporting cast that will be around for anyone outside the top line
