I like Chabot in a points-only league but it's close. McAvoy is in a really good situation but I think Chabot is the more skilled offensive player.

I love how these threads pop-up while I'm having the same arguments with my friend.
Just this week I had a discussion of Raddysh VS Lindblom and Mcavoy VS Chabot lol.
I'll take Chabot, for same reasons as Jouko, think he's the more skilled player.

I would have to agree with Chabot being a more skilled player but I get the feeling that he'll have to play the safer stay at home style and will end up with Karlsson paring. Just a feeling though.

I'd take Chabot if you're willing to be patient with him. McGuire has thrown around "superstar in the league" when talking about this kid. But he does give McA. "really really good" credit too. For the next two seasons, I'd prefer McA. but after that we could see Chabot really bloom at the NHL level. EK is what scares me.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
