new year, same cap team. Help with fun and exciting changes!

Posting my team below in hopes I can get some opinions on changes IF NEEDED.

League stats G A P PP+- HITS

C: Giroux, Johansen, Schenn
RW: Tarasenko, Radulov, Toffoli
LW: J Hockey, Forseberg, Max Patch
D: Josi. Keith, Werenski, Ghost
F: Gallagher, Ehlers, Tkachuk
Bench: Coyle, Rantanen, Konecny, Perlini, Jagr
G: Price, Bishop, Hellebyuck

I know my team is solid for a 12 team keeper league, so just need a tweak or two.
Was thinking about Coyle or Gallagher plus for Wheeler>? something like that. let me know THANKS!!

If you can pull off that deal then I quite like it. Wheeler gets as many Hits as those other two (even more than Gallagher) and will do extremely well in all of the other categories. That extra 2 million or so in cap hit is well worth it.

a trade like that seems like a no brainer, if you could pull it off.

Wheeler is a great target for sure. Not a flashy name that'll cost you extra, but a lock for solid minutes and linemates. You might also want to see if you can grab Maroon or Sheary. They're both in great situations, but their name value is lower so you might be able to get the owners to bite.

Yeah, your team is really good. Don't do any drastic changes to what you've been doing to get there.

Acquiring Wheeler is a good idea if you're contending which I think you are.

It's too hard to give specific names because nobody knows who is available in your league.

But generally, I'd be trying to do a 2 for 1 upgrade, or giving up youth for a better performing veteran.

Basically, win-now moves.

Yeah just don't wanna sell the wrong two players lol.. essentially looks like Gallagher and something for an upgrade seems to be general consensus.

I would be looking to move out Radulov. He just hit his pay day. There is bound to be someone in your league who sees his new playing situation as favourable. I am not one of those people.

You don't think lining up with Benn and Seguin or with Spezza will help him? he didn't have near this talent in MTL other than Patch who he rarely played with.

I don't question his talent. I question his motivation.
