missing the better part of the 2nd half of the season, playoffs, and offseason should have him healed up enough to have a healthy season, figure the 7 missed games will be rest days
maybe this is just wishful thinking as a GM with Letang on his team

I really wish we could see Letang go beast mode for anything over 75 games- I think it would be so much fun to watch, similar to Burns last year. He's got Norris potential but will never play enough games.

The most he plays is 79 even if he's fully healthy. PIT will be in the playoffs and will sit him for the last three. I think he gets 59 games (misses 20 and gets sat for the last 3).
In 59 games: 9G, 40A and a bucketload of hits/blks/shots etc.

I didn't realize that Letang is 30 years old!! I was going to post that a good number of games missed were due to weird injuries, that heart thing and most recently, the neck injury. Concussions are the most troublesome though. I don't hesitate to grab him in any league that I can put him on IR because when he's playing, he's gold Jerry, gold!

I think a better prediction thread would be this:
predict what injuries Letang will suffer this year - and estimate how many games he will miss due to each one.
I mean, stroke, broken neck, concussion... there are some seriously interesting options with this dynamo
