Will the lightning have a successful team this year and make it all the way to the playoffs. Since Andrei Vasilevskiy is the #1 starter will be eligible to be in the top 5 or top 10 spot in goalies stats.

I think the lightning will have a very successful year... I see them winning the division this year.

If goalie stats are heavily based on wins, then I can see him as a top 5 goalie this year.

If there are more stats than just wins I think he will be around the 9-11 spot for stats.

So it largely depends on the stats that your league counts and the type of league it is.

I have Vasilevsky ranked in my top 5 and have him down for 40 or so wins. I really hope they give him 60+ games and give him all he can handle

I'm going to make an effort to get Vas in my draft. I think he can have a year similar to what Andersen did in Toronto last year. Good numbers, not great. Top 10 in wins

I think he's going to need a little more support and gets 30 wins in 50 starts. Still a decent season, and depending on how the rest of TBs starts go then they could/should be a playoff team, but I don't see Vas as a top 5 guy, especially this coming year. He could be a top 10 goalie through his prime, but I have a tough time seeing him as top 5.

I'd take the under. Very optimistic projections IMO.

I expect him to get something close to 30-35 wins. Nothing wrong with that but dont be surprised he isn't sharing a bit of time with Budaj.

40 wins seems a bit optimistic. I would pencil him in for around 30 and consider anything else gravy. Thinking he gets in the neighbourhood of 50 starts.

I will be surprised if the Lightning are not a top team in the East this year. Vasilevskiy is a massive variable in that of course. Worst case scenario he scrapes 20-25 wins with bad numbers and shares time with Budaj (an unexpected setback like Mrazek). Best case, which to me seems much more likely, he piles up the wins (35-40) with great but not Vezina level numbers.

40 wins certainly seems high but the East is so difficult to figure out when it comes to how good teams are going to be.

I think Tampa will be a strong team this year, but I think Budaj also gets a far share of starts.

    For Vas - 53 starts, 31 W, 2.55 GAA, .917 SV%
