I have trouble seeing them making the playoffs this year... Reason being which team which team from the Metro that made the playoffs last year will miss this year?

I think all the teams in the Metro from last year make it again. leaving only one available spot for the Hurricanes to fill into.

I do not see him as a top 10 goalie....

Not in any particular order, just a list of goalies off the top of my head that I see as better than him next year... probably missing one or two.

    1) Price
    2) Holtby
    3) Talbot
    4) Dubnyk
    5) Rask
    6) Bobrovsky
    7) Muray
    8) Crawford
    9) Allen
    10) Jones
    11) Andersen
    12) Lundqvist

Columbus has the highest chance to drop off. Without that crazy 16w they looked good, not great. An injury to Bob and they’re DONE.

Rangers, an injury to Lundy or poor play again could sink them with Pavelec as the backup and not Raanta.

A lot has to do with health with the Metro right now, if Murray goes down can we trust Neimi?

Carolina I think will be where they were in 2016-17. They will play better, but the results will be roughly the same for now until the young players take the leap. They showed at the end of the regular season last yr they can play, but is that like the 2015-16 Leafs where they showcased their talent? Or is that just a flash in the pan?

9th-10th in the east. Don't see them as a playoff team.

as for the other question id rather have dubnyk. better team and is playing his best hockey right now

Carolina has had one of the best offseasons out there in my mind and I could see them sneak into the playoffs this season. Darling would be a huge part of the reason why if it happens.

First thought I'd agree, but that Central is rough and Rask has an awesome schedule during fantasy playoff time... more games in the last 6 weeks of the season than most, and only like 2 B2Bs in that span. Boston will be on the bubble again, and they will play the hell out of Rask to make a playoff birth. He could get them in this year.
