wouldn't really surprise me to see chiarelli give draisaitl away but if he SAYS he will keep him then ill take his word for it (for now). there would have to be some huge pluses added onto duchene for draisaitl for it to be worth it though.
For me wqIting jow isn't about creating more partners but creating more desperate ones...
Experience is the teacher of all things.

If Montreal traded
Artturi Lehkonen
1st Round Pick
2nd Round Pick
for
Matt Duchene
Would that be enough? Fair?
I was unaware that rataylor had specific inside knowledge to all the offers Sakic got at the deadline last year. I'd love to hear the specific deals he turned down...
At this point I would not be shocked if Sakic was ok accepting a young forward as the key piece. He has dragged this on for so long and he is not getting Chabot or McAvoy or any other elite defense prospect he might covet. He can't even get Ceci off the Sens (no offense to Ceci). I think he might settle for either a very raw defensive prospect with upside or a young unproven forward plus a good pick. The problem is obviously that the team acquiring Duchene cannot extend him yet so they can have no assurance of having him long term.
Theres going to be so much pressure on the player that goes the other way; man I would not want to be that guy.
