..you always try for more...but not a deal breaker. i think i prefer Korpi anyway.
In one of my keepers, I own Bobrovsky & Forsberg. The manager who owns Crawford & Korspisalo wants to swap back-ups (Forsberg for Korspisalo). Even though the trade makes total sense for both of us; I feel like I?m giving up the better goalie prospect. Thoughts? Should I try and get a late draft pick out of the trade as extra?

I think Korpisalo is a better prospect than Forsberg and since the deal makes too much sense, I wouldn't mess around with it.
Who approached who first? From the looks of it, it's him. If you feel that Forsberg is a better value, let him know and try to get the ''difference'' via an extra asset. Make sure that you can argue your point with stats so that it's not just a '' I prefer him'' type of example.
I doubt you will get a groundbreaking return, but anything other than a 1v1 is a win for you IMO.
If he doesn't want to budge, the 1v1 is not a bad deal for both parties.

Take out the insurance policy on Bobrovsky's lower body. Make the deal.

You can try, but I think Korpisalo is a better goalie too. I wouldn't let a meaningless plus get in the way if the other owner balks...
^^ wouldn't you feel like a tool if the deal was scuttled over a meaningless plug then Bobrovsky went down for an extended period. Goalie tandems are outstanding when the #1 gets hurt. Your 3rd or 4th string suddenly becomes a #1 the EXACT moment you need one. WIN/WIN

I'm hoping the OP made the trade by now...

I agree with trying for more, but having the backup of the more injury prone goalie is your better bet. Make the deal straight up if you have to.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Thx for all the advice guys! I pulled the trigger on the trade and managed to get a late prospect pick for late NHLer FA pick (I have to make room on my squad this season for a couple of rookies so the prospect pick is worth more to me). Cheers

Good call.
Sometimes owning the better player doesn't make your team better.
With back-ups, you get 100% of the back-up's starts... if you also own the starter.
There's a lot of conflicts lost if your back-up is on another team.
It was a win-win for both of you to get 82starts - and that's the way ANY good trade (fantasy or NHL) should go.
