A) Please don't be one of the trade puller GMs! Stand with you convictions.
B) I could see an argument for either side of that deal. You'll come out alright whether they accept or not.

That was my thought process in trying to grab Carlson and using Klefbom as bait. My problem is, sometimes I fall for the hype of a young guy and second guess myself. I have never pulled a trade, although, I have been relieved a few times when a trade I proposed was rejected. lol

A deal that can swing both ways, and have appeal both ways also, so I wouldn't pull it but I wouldn't mind if it's rejected either

Pretty fair trade IMO. I think I would slightly prefer the Carlson side. I think Swartz and Carlson both have bounce back seasons.

He rejected it, but countered with Saad instead of miller. Getting Schwartz would give me Tarasenko's linemate potentially and I think Schwartz and Saad are comparable? Just not sure it's worth the drop in picks. Maybe without the picks?

IMO, this is too lateral of a move to pull the trigger.
I see PPP are weighted. I don't see Schwartz' usage changing and he doesn't get many PPP (9 last year). I actually see Saad's usage on the PP skyrocketing and he'll settle into the same point range as Schwartz (55ish). I'd keep Saad over Schwartz.
If you get get Carlson for Klefbom though, I'd pull that trigger even if I had to downgrade a pick.
