in a points only this is close..
as tempting as Drais is though, id pass... if you wanna counter, upgrade on Carter.
Hey All,
Just got this offer sent my way. Also involves my giving a couple pick upgrades, but that's not a deal breaker either way. I'm leaning towards a NO here, but Drai doesn't get offered every day, so I don't want to hastily reject without checking the collective wisdom. It's for the second team in my signature. I'm thinking Drai beats Nylander, Pulj beats Mantha (but not sure by how much - help please?), and Giroux beats Carter. I'm interested enough in Drai that I'm thinking a counter. Or do you guys think I should go for it?

I have to disagree with the above poster. In a points only I think this is a fairly easy deal to reject. I don't think there will be much of a gap between Nylander and Draisaitl but I think you're losing on Giroux/Carter and really losing out on Pulju/Mantha. Plus he's asking for a pick upgrade.
I think now is the absolute worst time to buy Draisaitl. He's a hell of a player but after his playoff run you're not getting him without overpaying. In my league the Draisaitl owner is also shopping him; when I asked what it would take I was told Klingberg + Mackinon for Draisaitl straight up.

Wow Serge P, I don't see in what world Pulju is better than Mantha. You mean the guy that didn't even make it in the league last year besides Eberle and RNH? Funny how people see things differently, I see MAntha wayyy better than Pulju and Nylander is not even close to Draisaitl by the way. not close. I would bet anybody $100 that Draisaitl and Mantha makes more points than Nylander and Pulju for next year. Anyday.
Giroux is a bit enigmatic, I still believe he will bonce back thought... As for Carter he always was underdog and undervalued. he is consistent thougth. For my part I would not decline that trade so fast. If Giroux doesn't live up to it you are really screwed. remember, sell high by low.
Have to disagree with you here SergP, Pulju is in no league whatsoever better than Mantha. Pulju didn't even make it with McD and Draisaitl.. AS for Mantha he makes it in a pretty bad shape team (Detroit). In my book Mantha is better than Pulju, way better.
