Default Who has 10 minutes to help?

    This is my team:

    Drouin
    Ehlers
    Giroux
    Johnson T.
    Lee
    Lindholm
    MacKinnon
    Nugent-Hopkins
    Nylander
    Panarin
    Stamkos
    Strome R.

    Doughty
    Honka
    Parayko
    Pulock
    Sergachev
    Theodore

    Vasilevsky
    Hellebyuck

    Bench:

    Bjustad
    Connor
    Dvorak
    Gurianov
    Jankowski
    Jost
    Keller
    Point
    Puljajarvi
    Schmaltz

    Pouliot
    Zadarov
    Merill
    Hamhuis

    Mrazek
    Demko
    Subban

    In a points only league and I'm keeping all these players (1G, 1A, 2 Win, +3 S/O = 5)

i have picks 1, 4, 10, 12, 17 29 (Picks 1 - 4 are in a lottery, so we have to plan on picking twice anywhere in there)

    Players available from previous drafts:

    Guentzel
    Kaprizov
    Steel
    Debrincat
    Kunin
    Gusev
    Danault
    Shipachyov
    Bellows
    C. Brown
    Sprong
    Rubtsov

    McCavoy
    Skjei
    Slavin
    Walman
    Bowey
    Sanheim
    Stetcher

    Saros
    Soderstrom
    Samsonov
    Sheshtyorkin
    Gillies
    Parsons

Disclaimers: I won back 2 back a few years back and tore it all apart cause i want a dynasty. I wanna win 4 out of 5 years so players with sky high ceilings wanted.
    - I've had Giroux Doughty and Stamkos for 9 years so I'm unlikely to trade them due to a soft spot in my heart.
    - I know my defence is young and very thin
    - I know i have a lot of question marks in net with Mrazek doing God knows what, Helle with a bad first season (Still have faith) Demko a ways away and Subban not a for sure.
    - the team that won this year is STACKED so I'm still 2 years away. So the defence, young forwards can get some seasoning. Goalies have time to see how everything pans out

Now who has time to help? A mock of the first 17 picks with a big emphasis on the first 4 picks with scenarios varying from me getting 1 and 2, 1 and 3, 1 and 4, 2 and 3 etc.....
Also throw out a home run pick for 29!

*Optional......After the mock, i would love to know who you think my starting 12, 6, 2 would be after your draft list in 2 years so i can start shopping the others.

Thanks again in advanced, and always remember.....If you aren't on the first PP, you're no good to me.

I agree with your top 5 picks, Stuntman, but Jussi Saros would be a great pick for a young team that seems to need help in the netminder position. Rinne is still #1 in Nashville's net, but not for much longer. Saros is going to be very, very good. And you have a few years to wait. I see him being every bit as good as any of the goalies you mentioned before.

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)
    16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23
F: J. Robertson, J. Hughes, Tavares, Lafreniere, Cozens, Newhook, Teravainen, Domi, R. Strome, Laine, Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti
    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
    G: Vasilevskiy

10 minutes to do a mock 17 draft and sleeper pick at 29? lol

I don't see Gusev anywhere near the top 5. Wouldn't put him in the top 10 either.
