It won't hurt him that's for sure. I don't know if anything is really changing Toews' outlook at this point, but it's not a bad gamble to be making. They have had a long rest this summer too and will be coming back with lots to prove.
I have Saad, just wondering if making a play for Toews would be worth it? Wondering if Toews will gain a fantasy uptick with Saad on his wing.
Points league, bonus point for powerplay points.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
The thing with Toews is that his name value is greater than his fantasy value for some GMs. While I think he can have an uptick, I certainly wouldn't be overpaying for him at this point.
Thinking about couture and a drop in draft pick from 9th to 15th?might be too much .

Depends which line Saad plays on: the Kane line if he's essentially swapping places with Panarin, or the Toews line. Either way, I don't think Toews' value will change much, if any, with what is a swap of left wingers.

I'm not sure it's worth the punt (though in fairness that's not expensive so is this a cap league or...?), think he sits in the 60s with or without Saad all year
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Toes has proven to be pretty consistent, and really Saad is a 50-60 point guy in all likelihood, not like Toews is getting a superstar on his line, I think best to expect much of the same from Toews, 60-70 points.
