I like Kyle Connor better as a player but I like Barzal's situation better.
I just can't see Connor breaking top 6 regularly (Wheeler, Ehlers, Laine) in the next 2 years whereas Barzal is competing with lesser talent (Bailey, Ladd, etc.).

Connor for me as well. Sure, Barzal has a better opportunity right now. But Snow is probably gonna bring in a few more wingers in an attempt to sway JT to re-sign long term. So Barzal's better opportunity could be gone by the time training camp is upon us...

From what I've seen of both I think Barzal has the higher offensive upside.
