I feel they're practically even but since I'm in a head to head and already own Ovi Backstrom and Holtby it would be smart to try and get some other teams players mixed into my lineup.

Carlson for me - I like what he's shown over the past few years more than AP. Plus, he'll have his spot on the PP back, which is more lethal than STL.
Not sure about your league, but I would guess that Carlson holds greater trade value than AP as well.

Fairly even trade. If you proposed it, it seems lateral. If other GM proposed it, I'd ask for a small kicker to make it worth your while. My gut says AP outscores Carlson next year.

51/46/37/48 point totals past 4 seasons...can forgive that outlier season of 37 and go with the consistent option, plus as stated Shatty gone so he will be relied upon all around.
