I don't see a downside for you in any format...obviously he really likes someone he feels he can get for with the 4th overall, but with the amount of value you get back, take it and enjoy!

Good deal for you. Picks 3-9/10 in this years draft are a matter of need and preference really - very little to any difference at all in terms of skill, potential and ETA to the NHL. Next years draft should be as good if not better than this years and I really like Pickard and Soderstrom's futures as well.

Not much difference between #4 and #9 this year, and you got a good package of assets for moving down. Looks like a nice deal for you.

If this is a dynasty / full keeper, and the draft picks are for the amateur draft, this trade is a big win. I have no idea who at no. 4 is worth no. 9, a lottery pick next year and two decent prospect goalies. A strange trade. I'm wondering if we are missing context, given the lack of details on the league?
