Weird that you haven't heard of him. A few months ago, he was considered to be a potential 1st round pick. One of the biggest fallers in the entire draft for sure. He was #59 on TSN ranking and even much higher on Dobber's Fantasy Prospect Report. Even Craig Button had him at #44, and all in all most pre-draft rankings had him in the top-50.

The draft is now over, and the biggest surprise non-selection based on pre-draft rankings: Artyom Minulin, a D-man who scored 50 points in 70 games playing for the Broncos in the WHL. 6'2", 198 lbs, so size is obviously not an issue with him. I'd be really interested to hear why teams didn't bother using a 7th round pick on him.
