This is how I see them starting the season and trying to make work. Top line McDavid w/ Puljujarvi or Strome, 2nd line Draisaitl with Puljujarvi or Strome. However, they may end up defaulting back to McDavid & Draisaitl on top line if the youngsters can't keep up.

figure lines go like this to start the season for these reasons 1) gives Lucic another shot to live up to contract, 2) balances out roster, 3) tests if Strome can handle playing w/ top players and doesn't rush Puljujarvi into top line duty off the hop

Looks good to me. At some point I wouldn't be surprised to see Lucic/Maroon flip spots, and possibly Strome/Puljujarvi flip spots. If Strome and Puljujarvi both struggle then Draisaitl goes to RW1, RNH to C2, Strome and Puljujarvi down to RW2 and 3. A lot of flexibility there for them to work with. Looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out.

I wont be surprised if Caggiula is up on the top line with McDavid and Maroon more often than not. I can see Puljujarvi starting in the AHL again with Strome on the 2nd line with Draisaitl to start.
Who knows how they will all gel.
