I think Jost will have better opportunity in the top-9. Eriksson Ek seems to have mainly gotten his top-9 time only when someone was hurt, and was otherwise on the 4th line. Jost may also get better PP opportunity, especially if a guy like Duchene is moved as is rumoured. EE has put up more points in his NHL games, but Jost probably has a better offensive game, it just might take him a while to get going. Jost but not by a ton.

this is a tough one. i'd go with EE, by the smallest of margins. I think he's going to be the wild's number one center one day, with kaprizov on his wing. jost is always going to be stuck behind mackinnon. I think jost's upside is 65-70 points, with EE's being a bit higher (say, 70-75).

I love and own both in a lot of leagues. Slight edge towards Jost IMO.

I also prefer Jost but it's damn close.

I took Jost - his name holds a little more value in keeper leagues right now.
Both should end up being ~65 point guys with the goals advantage toward EE.
It's a tough call. Once Koivu and Staal are out of the way it will be the Kaprizov + Eriksson Ek + Granlund + Nieddereiter show. But Jost should get more opportunities (possibly alongside MacKinnon + Rantanen on the PP) in the short term on a terrible Avs team.

And with starting 2G, I'm not sure I'd both keeping your 4th G (Markstrom).
