Petry vs Leddy

I'm in a CAP league and I am tight against the cap and I need to let one of these guys go. Who do you think performs better in the upcoming year?
Categories are
G,A,SOG, +/-, STP, MMP( Essentially PIM), TOI, Hits, Blks

Petry or Leddy?
Each of these have the same cap hit of 5.5M.

My other defense are:
Pietrangelo - Expensive but good all around
Carlson - Decent cap hit for one more year
Johnson J - Ok cap hit for what you get.
Yandle - High cap hit for offense potential
Ceci - Low cap hit decent hit/blk with some potential offense
Polak- Low cap hit for really good hit/blk

Top Up and coming not ready for roster
- Chychrun, Chabot ....
I have considered Johnson, but his cap is lower and so far you get decent return.

I like Petry more in this setup but I wouldn't want to own either at such a huge cap hit.

5.5 million seems high for both of these guys, but I suppose if you are counting things like Kits and PIM, then a higher than normal salary makes some sense. I prefer Petry in this format too, but I'd be looking to move Yandle (your words:" high cap hit for offense potential"). The words high salary and potential just don't jive well in my eyes, and I'd try to unload him to somebody who thinks his best years aren't over yet. I think they are.

I have to agree with you on Yandle but at his cap hit there is not much interest out there. I hate that I traded for him last year but he did help me win the championship. Or did I win in spite of that??
