Your selling a bunch of beans for one of the best players in the league. I wouldn't counter your offer and would reject all corresponding offers afterwards. You need to start with kuch or tank to just get a sniff.
I was nice enough to add Eichel as a starting point too.

Yeah, I'd start with one of Kucherov or Tarasenko. If it were me, I'd probably lead with Tarasenko to get the conversation started and see where it goes. Your RW can afford to take a bit of a hit going forward. If/when you get countered, offer the 1st round pick as a sweetener and see what happens - it's likely this won't be enough either so you'll have to be willing to deal Tarasenko + a really solid prospect + 2nd rounder or something of the sort...

Purely my opinion at least. I don't have much patience for long drawn out negotiations, so unless somebody comes to the table with a reasonable offer I'm pretty much just going to ignore it. It can tick people off when they get presented with a low-ball offer or a large hunk of crap for a top tier player

I totally agree with this statement.

Ok I offered him Tarasenko for Karlsson straight up. His RW's are Pirri, Fast, Jaskin, Simmonds so pretty weak there

That's better than anything you've mentioned so far, but as an EK owner in 3 dynasty leagues there's very little that would get EK from me. Pretty much nothing compares to his consistent high(est) end production and you've got to think about it from his perspective. Why would he want to move him in the first place?

Would you take Tarasenko for EK? I might look at it a bit but it hardly moves the needle for me.
