I don think it's a clear cut as it was two days ago, that's for sure!

I would monitor what happens over the summer, if you don't need to make decision anytime soon, and see what happens in both cities. Rumblings going around that Hanifin is being shopped potentially. If he moves than I think it's reasonable that Slavin slides into Hanifin's spot and gets those all important pp mins which could give him the edge on Skjei!

Gun to my head today, I would select Skjei knowing of the potential competition he will face this year.

Well, it's being reported that shattenkirk looks to be signed in New York for 4 yrs @ 6.9 per.

Well with the recent news, I'd probably go for Slavin.. the kid reminds me of Provorov when I see him play

I prefer Skjei here. He is the man in New York (at the moment) and Faulk is the #1 guy in Carolina so one would think Skjei will have more opportunity. Still think Deangelo is a year or two away from getting to Skjei's level. We'll see

with new york signing shattenkirk it hurts skjeis short term value but i still rather have him over slavin by a hair. not a big difference in my opinion.

So what does Shattenkirk produce for points this year? Have to assume he is the PP1 QB now, right?

Definitely the go to guy in NYR now. I like him for his usual 45-50 points still though.
