Right now Skjei but that relies on the Rangers not bringing someone in....
Who would you rather want in a points only(g/a) dynasty league:
Skjei
or
Slavin

Experience is the teacher of all things.
They're pretty high on skjei, but I agree. If shatts etc came in, it hurts him.
I think I'd still take skjei in a dynasty though.
I may be biased because I own him, but I prefer Skjei. There is the fear that the Rangers will bring in someone with a big name (Shattenkirk?) , but there is plenty of young talent in Carolina pushing for Slavin's time (Fleury, Hanifin, McKeown, Bean, Pesce) that Slavin may get lost in the crowd. All things considered, and given what I have seen of both (more Skjei), I have to go with the Ranger.
Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)
16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23
F: J. Robertson, J. Hughes, Tavares, Lafreniere, Cozens, Newhook, Teravainen, Domi, R. Strome, Laine, Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti
D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
G: Vasilevskiy
The reins no longer in Sather's hands, Gorton does not strike me as the type to sign a Shattenkirk but I could be completely wrong, they know Henrik's time is short now so perhaps they make yet another attempt to get him a cup. Slavn has too much competition as stated above and Skjei is basically the one young D guy we have with potential like his.

I take Skjei!....the I think the Rangers have a better offence and score more Goals. Skjei is the second best offensive d-men for the Rangers and Slavin have some competition with Faulk, Hanifin, Paesce...

You think Pesce is higher than Slavin?
No ?m just saying that there is more risk for Slavin to be challenge than Skjei.
Skjei can make 40-45 pts but i don't think Slavin gonna reach 45 pts ever.

Slavin is still above Pesce, but Skjei is the pick here.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
skjei in point only.
Okay fellas, there's no questioning the preferred dman here. Thanks for the responses!
Well crap! DeAngelo has to come along and throw a kink into everything. How does this change opinions now?

I still like Skjei here - not convinced DeAngelo will be trusted enough to truly steal icetime.

I prefer Skjei here. He is the man in New York (at the moment) and Faulk is the #1 guy in Carolina so one would think Skjei will have more opportunity. Still think Deangelo is a year or two away from getting to Skjei's level. We'll see
Wth DeAngelo, and probably more importantly the $s to sign another D man, my faith in Skjei is wavering as Mcdonagh is also still there
