    Default Value of Neuvirth/Stolarz/Lyon

What is the current value of Neuvirth/Stolarz/Lyon?

Does Neuvirth take over the reigns in Philadelphia next year with Stolarz as the backup? Does Lyon figure into the equation in any way?

I'm guessing both Neuvirth/Stolarz get a bump and are worth holding onto, as well as Lyon.

My dilemma is in one league i have Price/Holtby/Neuvirth/Stolarz. Only one goalie start a day with unlimited starts per week. I'm guessing the mass opinion would be to move Neuvirth/Stolarz as a package to a goalie needy team. What kind of return could I expect?

I think the Flyers have showed their hand. It's been confirmed Mason is gone and Stolarz is the obvious choice to back up Nuevy. I don't think they'll go after a FA goalie with their pipeline stocked. That being said the G youngsters are a few years out, Lyon being one of them.

I think the Flyers sign a goalie this summer that platoons with Neuvy.

It's impossible to say until we see how this expansion draft plays out. I just don't think Stolarz is ready to be a 1B goalie yet. And I can't see Neuvy as a 1A goalie either. I think Neuvy was signed because the cap and term were small, and it also allowed Philly to protect Stolarz. I just can't see Philly not doing something.

Neither Stolarz or Lyon are ready for full time NHL backup and there have been rumours of GMGM having interest in scooping Neuvirth, not sure why, so the Flyers goalie situation has the potential of becoming a complete overhaul in the next few weeks.

Maybe you could swap them to a needy team for just a young G with higher upside than Stolie.

FWIW pierre McGuire was on TSN radio the other day and said he thinks vegas will take neuvirth. don't forget that George McPhee is the one who originally drafted him.
seeing as though the flyers don't seem to be resigning steve mason, I wouldn't be surprised if they sign brian Elliott to platoon with either stolarz or neuvirth (if he isn't taken by vegas). that would be a very good stopgap until their top goalie prospects are ready (hart and sandstorm). he would come cheap, and could sign a two year deal, which I think is what hextall would be looking for.
another point regarding the value of all flyer goalie prospects is that they just traded merrick madsen to the coyotes. I think he was a real sleeper in their system - he's been lights out for two seasons at Harvard, and is a big goalie that projects well to the nhl. that's one less goalie for the flyers' prospects to contend with. and I think madsen's value also skyrockets, since the only other goalie prospect of note in Arizona is adin hill, and he had a rough second half of the season. I would suggest to everyone in dynasty leagues to take a look at madsen very closely.

Heard a crazy rumour that Vegas will draft Fleury from Pittsburgh, then trade him to the Penguins state rival for Neuvirth + a pick and maybe a prospect. Pittsburgh would never send The Flower to Philadelphia straight up, but the Flyers would love to get him and stick it in their faces.

That being said, and again it was just a rumour I heard from a guy who used to live in Pittsburgh, I think the most valuable of the three goalies mentioned in the original post is Stolarz. He may still be a year or two away from full time duty, but he will be a decent goaltender. Neuvirth has had his chance to prove it, but can't, and Stolarz is better than Lyon.

I think the Flyers would do it just to piss the Penguins off...

Philadelphia protected Stolarz. Increases his value in my eyes, but keep an eye on the situation in Philly's crease as I don't see them going with him as their starter come the beginning of the 2017-18 season.
