The thing I notice with Gaudreau is that he is super dangerous in certain places on the ice, and if the rules were called properly he would be dynamite on a regular basis. But when the rules are not called like they should, players know they can clutch and grab him and slow him down. It's dumb but it's the way it is with the NHL these days. His ability to open up ice in the neutral zone and entering the zone is incredible, but I feel like teams don't give him quite enough space these days to do what he does best.
