Dobber and I are similar in age and both have two kids, so this hits me pretty close to home. I can only imagine what you and your family are going through. But you got the best news you can get when you hear the word cancer - there are treatments, and successes. This is your Stanley Cup finals, and I for one see you emerging with the Conn Smythe, the entire DobberHockey community cheering you on as you take your cancer-free victory skate.

So sad to hear of your news today. It is amazing how many people are touched by the Big C in its many forms, either directly or someone they know. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and went through a mastectomy, Chemo and radiotherapy, she is now back at work with more surgery to come later in the year. My uncle has had it in his throat and various places on his skin and he is still with us.
This thing can be beaten and I am sure that you have the will and the support to see this through and to kick the ass out of Cancer. There are good days and bad ahead but this forum will stand with you the whole way.
