I'd swap Scheifele for Marner and Backstrom for Matthews. Then I'd flip Eichel and Drai.

my big problem is projecting Brad Marchand. Had a break out year and is 29 years old, 60 pts to 85 in one year. Now where would you put him?

Hehe, I think he was being sarcastic with all the hype around him as of late. He doesn't even have a full year under his belt... I'm fairly certain he will go early in most drafts but I'm curious to see who will he be picked ahead of (i.e. guys like Giroux, Perry, heck even youngsters like Forsberg)! In the end, I'm not so sure that will end up being a winning gamble!

I was going to ask about Stamkos. He could be top 10 in scoring. He had a great start last year until the injury.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

Very true! If Kucherov is there, I'm pretty sure Stamkos should be pushing the top-10 as well!

would you feel comfortable drafting stamkos ahead of guys like Tarasenko, Matthews, Gaudreau considering his past injury history?

I don't think many people will be drafting him ahead of those guys. And that's why I think he will end up returning fantastic value for where he gets drafted. I'm predicting a healthy (70+ games played) PPG+ season for Stammer with a minimum of 40 goals and a chance at the Rocket Richard.
