Finished runner-up this year following 3 years of success. I believe I did a good job starting getting younger while staying on top. I have Drouin and hopefully Reinhart on the rise but need to prepare the next draft. Potential keepers are in bold and I have the 8th, 12th and 19th picks plus a couple in later rounds. Agree with your keeper choices. Not much that it looks like you need to focus on. You don't have any of the top forwards from the next wave though, so I would try shopping Malkin or Tavares to get Eichel.

Thanks a lot guys. Flipping Malking for Eichel is a possibility. The guy that has Eichel is finished last andneeds many fwd. Might try to offer Malking Saad, Stepan and my 8th for Eichel and his 1st.

That would be mighty sweet to pull off if you could. Even if you have to take the picks off it might still be worth doing.

And thanks Ian. Nice to have some other good minds agree with it. A lot of the time I feel like I'm just rambling with random player evaluations haha.

I would maybe consider keeping Saad over Vatanen. He could be the odd man out in Anaheim and seems to have lost fantasy value over the season. My 2 cents!

Lots of movement since this post. I am now considering protecting one of Saad or Stepan over Vatanen.

I'd keep Saad over Reinhart, personally. Especially for a win now team.

I could see Saad over Vatanen. Stepan is going to have to be the responsible centre in the desert.
Reinhart's outlook I still really like depending on if he ends up on Eichel's wing.
