    Default Bonino GTD for game-3

He's been a clutch player for them throughout the playoffs. He tends to be a bit more "invisible" during the regular season but I'm sure if he misses any time with this LBI in the Finals, it will be felt... Hagelin will dress according to TSN if Bonino can't lace 'em up.

Bonino arrived at the practice facility yesterday wearing a protective booth but he did manage to suit up for a full practice. I heard on 91.9FM this morning that he was seen doing some PK drills.

He ended up missing game-3 after blocking a shot off his foot in game-2. He has yet to be ruled out of game-4.

Ok, so he was still out for game-4... The Pens played better than they did in game-3 but I think Bonino is an important piece of their puzzle going forward so I'm hoping he comes back for the crucial game-5!

As per Rotoworld: Bonino was called a game-time decision, but it would have been surprising if he played. Though he has skated, he's also been seen using crutches and a walking boot after blocking a shot in Game 2. Jun 5 - 8:07 PM

    Update from Rotoworld:
Nick Bonino (lower body) briefly took part in Game 4's warm-ups Monday, but left the ice early and he didn't play for a second straight contest.
"He didn't feel strong enough as though he felt he could help our team win," coach Mike Sullivan said Tuesday. "That's why the decision was made not to put him in the lineup. He's certainly a tough guy to replace for us." Bonino is eager to get back into the lineup, but it remains unclear if he will ready to play on Thursday night. Jun 6 - 6:14 PM

I think if they get him back for game-5, especially with the last change, he can be a key-piece for their game-plan.

Hehe, no one is posting in this thread but 100+ of you are eyeing it so I'll keep updating it

    Here's the news today:
Nick Bonino (lower body) is being termed as a game-time decision for Thursday's contest, per Penguins coach Mike Sullivan.
It would be surprising if Bonino ended up playing though. He didn't join the Penguins for Wednesday's practice and wasn't on the ice Thursday morning either. Bonino has missed two straight games due to the injury. Jun 8 - 12:21 PM

Exactly! Walking boot + crutches but he's able to skate... Go figure!

Holy Moly! What a freakin' warrior! Turns out he had a broken tibia and still managed to play 2 periods after blocking that shot in game 2! The fact that he tried to come back each and every other game of the series shows his mental and physical toughness! I remember hearing him say yesterday in the ''celebrations interviews'' that his injury without specifying the full nature of it was just something everyone deals with and that any other player would have done the same in terms of trying to come back so quickly.
