For Marner Mckinnon keller Gudas(multicat league).

nah, you know how valuable Gudas is on his own these cats and it's just too much depth. Plus you have an elite center in Schiefele as is so just roll with him and Stamkos finds 70 point form you are good.

I would do this in a points only league, but not in a multicat. It is just a bit too much depth.

I would normally suggest trading for McDavid in any way possible. But as the previous posters mentioned, you'd be hurting too many of your other categories. Plus you'd have a big potential void at right wing by losing Marner and MacKinnon. I might consider reworking the deal, but I get the feeling that this owner is trying to unload centers (among other reasons for making the deal).

You seem to be doing the youth thing, so I'm not sure I'd want to give up Marner, Keller and MacKinnon in one go. I think I'd just continue with the path you are developing. In a multicat league, and assuming a dynasty, it will be hard to replace all that depth. And I wouldn't want to push your timeline for competing even further down the road....

I have some love for Rask here but as its multi cat it soon evaporates...

I would hit accept quickly. Looks like you have lots of good young players coming up from the minors system, so if you're not ready to compete next season anyways, you can wait for those guys to give you additional depth.

Even though this was not my recommendation, the advice makes sense to me. It's all about determining the window in which you want to compete. I'm generally impatient and don't like full rebuilds (unless you are an expansion team drafting terrible scrubs from other teams). If he goes the McD route, I'd like to hear his window for competing!

If you're Building for the future..it doesn't get any better than McDavid. I'd try to get something else tossed in or replace Rask with a cat filler, but still.. make the deal and build around him.

    Not cheap, but reasonable.
