strikes me as a bit odd he walks into an NHL assistant coach job... maybe he's more of a 'coach-type-player' behind the scenes than media would ever show people.

Or perhaps a good 'people' guy - sometimes it's not about X's and O's but what he can do to bring the room together as a collective between coaches and players
