I think we've seen his upside with his 89 point year and his floor this year. He is still a top 5 to 7 fantasy asset.
I'd draft him with the expectation of 75-80 points and solid peripherals.
I've noticed Jamie Benn's name popping up around various threads lately ... some threads suggesting perhaps a plateau for the former scoring champ.
He came in as the top ranked fantasy player by Dobber this year.
Health or lack there of definitely was a factor but if he does have a healthy year next year ... all things considered, is he still a top end fantasy talent?!
Limited keeper and need to be sure my investment in Benn at LW is a sound one.
Tks Nation!

To put it simply there are very few assets I would rather own over Benn at the moment. I could count them on both hands, at most.

I love benn but I think it's starting to depend on the format. 1st off, cap is now a concern. Is he still elite? I think so but I think he's already slipping a bit based on prime and just how he plays. I don't think he will slip too far, but I think he's more in the 70 ish point range now. Maybe 70-75. He biggest issue is how he plays combined with cap combined with a dynasty setup. There I think you needed to already potentially sell or he will slowly gradually diminish in value. But regardless, he's still a stud to have. So it's not like he's falling off the edge or anything, just starting to diminish a bit
I own Benn in my league, and just for the sake of it threw his name up as a potential trade target. People are really, really low on him right now lol. Have been offered stuff like Voracek+ or draft picks. Crazy. Under the right circumstances maybe you can trade him, but absolutely not worth it with the price tag that he now seems to hold.

Benn is worth every penny of investment you have in him.
And if your league is selling him low... buy low for sure!
IMO he's still a threat to hit 80 every year until he's in his 30's, he plays with high end talent in Seguin, and Klingberg add in his peripherals, he's still a beast in any format

I like Benn and have him in the 70s again but as Roenick27 said there are some leagues where he has become more difficult to own so format will play a part but in general a solid own
Experience is the teacher of all things.
In my format, hes a top 5 guy. Need details on your format for context. I believe Dallas as a team is going to experience a turnaround, this will only Benn-efit my boy, hopefully Seguin too.
If you are referring to the trade you made in our keeper league, I really like the move for you. In fact, I really like all your offseason moves so far. Your team looks solid, one of the early favourites in my opinion.
