Weresnki i think has the best chance followed by Josi but think Josi sticks around the 50-60 pt range

it's any player keep 8. Rest of roster is Johansen, JVR, Hall, Drouin, Voracek, Trocheck, Trouba, Rielly, Slavin, Lundqvist. I love Jones drafted him before he so much as even started for SJ and has done nothing but reward me so I am loyal to him. Ehlers replaced Hall, Risto replaced Johansen, Murray replaced Voracek as keepers from last season. These 3 defenseman hit the scoring cats in a most well rounded fashion and play the bigger minutes making them more valuable.

Two other guys that haven't been mentioned yet that might be there in a few years: Brady Skjei and Oscar Klefbom.

Skjei had 39 points as a rookie without much power play time. I think he could take over the top power play spot in a year or two.

Klefbom should be manning the McDavid power play for the next 10 years.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

Skjei will be 50-55 point guy as soon as next season and I know I will be called biased but the kid is real good, his vision is excellent and always maintains his cool even under duress.

I don't by any means elite, but I think a guy poised to make a big jump in points is Matheson in Florida, huge shot totals & little PP time last year as rookie, if anyone looking for an off the radar guy that can make a big jump that also realistically could be had for a cheap price potentially

Wow - I'm surprised at how many of these predictions I'm just not seeing at all, most notably Werenski and Skjei. But hey - I've been wrong before....

I'd be ecstatic to have half the players hit elite levels, primarily the half I have. Reality is those 70 point d-men are super rare and we are privileged at this time to see more than one at any give time.

Most of these studs only have a 60-65 point ceiling at the max. Nothing to sneeze at but unlikely to hit.

Im not a believer in skej. Not a real solid history of offensive production at any level. I need at least 1/2 to 1 full season to get on board and not ever seing 60 to be honest.

Klefbom? Ill pass on elite upside right now- but I could see a solid step forwqrd.

I can see buff having one or two more eite seasons- his perioherals are still top tier. Trouba should take a healthy step forward not 60 though (although dep down I do wonder if hes got an elite gear- hes shown glimpses of absolute dominance)

I think ghost is back with a vengeance next year darkhorse for 60+ but banking on a pretty comfortable 40-55 point season.

Love oel will be trying to buy low. Maybe not by next year but depending on their roster chemistery I think he steps into 60 point threat range by next year.

I know people are down on faulk but I might make a play for him too. Injures are always a concern but supporting cast less of an issue in the next few years. Admittedly a long shot but gms seem surprisingly sour on him.

Josi - sure. I think my boy ff gonna break wide open soon and josi will finally have a truly elite sniper to play off .

Risto- yes please! I missed the boat but kudos if you have him.

Werenski- meh- that whole team played way out of tbeir depth- I basically dont bieve in anyone on that team- lol! Lunch pail crew- lots of good producive options but I dont e a single real gambreaker. Maybe wren eventually but id expect growing pains an will eventualy need real help.

Feel the same about mine. 2 elites, one bounce back candidate and another getting a mention or 2. Some good feelings here

Ristolainen is a PP specialist. He's not good enough at 5 on 5 to ever become a Tier1 or 2 D.

Klingberg could be that guy. No mentions so far. If Dallas bounces back next season. Which I believe they will, Klingberg will be a huge part of that. Let's not forget that the Stars have some really good top end talent up front. Is it that out of the question for J Klingberg to put up 60-65. He put up 49 last year on a Dallas team where absolutely everything went wrong

This is what has me hesitant. His rookie season looked fantastic, but I can't wait for the guide to come out because I didn't watch the Rangers that closely all year. Were his zone starts protected? Was he lucky? How many secondary vs primary assists? From the bit I watched, he sure skates well and joins the rush quite effectively. He's around the net for loose pucks and seems to have a nose for it. Reminds me of Giordano.

I don't know if we are talking a guy who can put up 50+ but I'll take 40+ in any fantasy hockey league. Could slip on draft day. He produced very quietly.
