Been in talks with a gm of a very young rebuilding team but anyways I was looking to strengthen my goalies.
Trade boils down to keller + hellebuyck for bobrovsky. Bobrovsky would obviously replace hellebuyck on my roster. I'm really big on keller and don't want to regret it later. But I do play fantasy hockey to win every year

answered your own question stating looking to win every year, Bob carries the injury risk though with that groin of his but you want to win and he certainly improves the goaltending situation immensely.

Just figured I would ask the team that was in full rebuild mode first. he has 3 of the top 4 picks in the draft. I'm after the # 4. He said he would think about it. could be 1 of patrick/Nico/rantenen/Guentzel
And I would obviously have to throw in a pick. My best is 15th.

I would like to think there would be 'safer' options of you are shopping Keller and Helly... I fancy the regression monster to hit Columbus next season - they won't go on another win streak like they did this season

For me being able to add one of those offsets the risk of Bob and the jackets and still plenty of time to flip him anyway but depends on how easy you'll find it to land another goalie. I know everyone has mentioned Bob's new off season training programme as a reason he stayed healthy but it's only been one season and he hasn't had a season having played a ton I wonder whether the programme continues to keep him fit if his work load is similar next season...

Thanks for the advice. The deal kind of fell through. The other gm didn't want to trade bobrovsky. Which I'm ok with I can keep Keller and now I can keep hellebuyck or look for cheaper upgrades that don't involve me giving up keller as the +

Your prospect rules are really restrictive (25gp or less). To me, that really, really lowers the value of prospects except the cream of the crop. Unless Keller explodes out of the gate, won't his trade value drop quite a bit in your settings? I do like your win now mentality!

Yes prospects hardly get there feet wet and have to be on your roster or they become free agents. Our league loves young top prospects. The nice thing about keller now is that we won't take up a roster spot now and we do have 15 keepers per team. So it's easier to be patient with a guy like keller as your 15th keeper
