AP > Krug which makes this deal a no brainer.
I would also take Pietri over Krug. If it's either team in your Sig then rantanen is also a decent upgrade. Definite yes from me.

Krug has the production and the contract but I think McAvoy eats into some... Re AP His biggest risk has been moved - I'm also a pretty big Rantanen fan so...
Experience is the teacher of all things.
I'd want the Pietrangelo/Rantanen side but as mentioned earlier, do you have to drop someone to make this happen? If so, this deal isn't as cut and dry.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
This was my thinking as well... its kind of a double edged sword. AP will be better now that Shattenkirk is not around, and it is possible that Krug will take a back seat to Shattenkirk for PP ice time if Shattenkirk signs in Boston (which is rumoured he wants to sign somewhere close to home) .
Yes. Make that deal.

The deal was rejected but he countered.
My Krug and 3rd round pick for
His couture, rantanen, vatanen and a5th round pick. I would have to drop 2 of my keepers. Jenner and someone else.

Less interested than before, but Ranty is a nice piece to snake and Couture is always a teasing asset.

The fact that you have to drop an extra player on top of Jenner makes me want to walk away from this one. How 'bout you counter with Couture and Rantanen for Krug (no Vatanen, no pick swaps). You have more than enough firepower on the blueline to make this happen without getting a D in return.

He also has keith or Yandle. Try to get one of them instead of vatanen of maybe just hold tight with Krug?

If he needs offensive d I'm not sure he'd move Yandle or Keith plus the other pieces for Krug? Seems counter productive surely?
