i would give up Kunin, McLeod, and Barzal.
I only have one prospect D and I dont expect to add any in the draft this year. I have been interested in Montour for a while now and its time to go get him before the price gets high. I know he is available in the right deal, as his current owner says he is carrying too many D and would like to flip one for a forward. Which forwards on the farm roster in my sig would you offer to get Montour? REP for your contribution.
i would give up Kunin, McLeod, and Barzal.
WHL - World Hockey League (24 Team - Daily H2H)
Maine Moose 2021-2022

I would try one of C.White, Kunin or McLeod (preferrably Kunin or McLeod).
Rantanen, Mantha and Zacha are already established and seem poised for good things so I would hold back on offering any of them.
Connor, Boeser and Barzal have solid upside so I would prefer to deal 2 of the top 3 initially listed as opposed to sending one of these but if he really wants one, I would move Boeser.
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO
C- Crosby, Barzal, Bennett, Schmaltz, Novak
W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Maccelli, Sharangovich, Bertuzzi, Kaliyev, Neighbours, Reichel
D- Carlson, Rielly, Klingberg
G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Merzlikins, Vejmelka
Minors:
F: Fantilli, Cooley, Bourgault, Perreault, Cowan, Ohgren, N. Foote, Goyette, Iskhakov, Denisenko, Tracey
D: Simashev, Willander, Lambos
G: Schmidt, Rodrigue, DiPietro, Gaudreau, McKay
I would start with Kunin
If not him then I try White,
Then McLeod.
One strategy to consider is to wait until playoffs are done and wait a month and hopefully the other owner will decrease his asking price because he is not watching montour play every other night.
The risk of this is that Montour improves even more over the remainder of the playoffs.
I agree with what the others have suggested but I don't think it will be enough.
The Best Fantasy Hockey Site
15-Team Keeper, points only, best 12 fwd, 4 dman, 2 G count. Playoffs count.
F - T. Thompson, Thomas, Nylander, Tarasenko, Arvidsson, Guentzel, Fiala, Quinn, Mittelstadt, Hagel, Zacha, Roslovic, Berggren, Brink, Ostlund
G - Kahkonen, Vejmelka, L. Thompson, Levi, Comrie
D - Hronek, Morrissey, Lundkvist, Girard, Brannstrom, Rathbone, Hanifin, Severson, Durzi
I'd trade White and McLeod for Montour and a draft pick.

Call me crazy, most do. I think anyone who knows about Montour in a d heavy points league laughs at these offers. I would say offer for him what you would for trouba. The time is now.
I'd offer anyone not named Zacha, Rantanen or Mantha. This said, I wouldn't give Montour for anything less and would indeed laugh at the offers like plug hinted, even if I was offered some additional pick (except a real top pick).
I don't own a crystall ball, either, but IMO Montour has the potential to be something special - especially in a league like yours that counts SOG among other stats. His SOG totals in the AHL have been insane.
And let others bother about Ana's D depth (but obviously use it as a point in your negotiations), true talent always finds a way, I have full confidence that he'll succeed sooner or later.

Barzal and McLeod are the two names that jump out to me as the top two options I'd part with.

I'm with Axe on this one. Barzal and McLeod would be my first offers... followed by Kunin. I'm a bit bullish on White. I don't think I'm parting with any of Rantanen, Mantha, Zacha, Connor or Boeser who I think ALL will have a chance to show their fantasy relevance as soon as this up coming season.
I like Kunin over barzal/white/McLeod - McLeod/barzal my first two options to try to get a deal done.
