I'm just reporting what's been mentioned out there. I think Pittsburgh is 0-7 or 0-8 in that situation.

Perhaps we shouldn't spend too much time on stats (true or not) that include game 7s from past decades, which do not matter at all in 2017.

Game 7 was on the road in Wsh. doesn't affect Pitts game 7 home record.

    I disagree.

Stat: Since 1909, the mighty Senators have never lost their 19th game of the playoffs on the road. A perfect record. Sens in 7. This is not a stat to just fluff off in my opinion.

Couldn't be.. has nothing to do with the stat that says they didn't have a team for 58 years (1934 - 1992) or that until 1934 there was never a 19th game in the playoffs to be had.

Or the fact the stat you speak of is 1-0 .. and the only win they could muster vs. the Ducks in the finals in 06/07. Something tells me.. this stats is not statistically significant.

I assume that the reason the Sens made it to game 7 is the universe giving notch every opportunity possible to hedge his bet!

But in seriousness, can you imagine how boring a Nashville/Ottawa final would be? Two 1-3-1 systems going at each other. Man, I really hope that doesn't happen because that will suck.

If it does somehow come to pass, do you realize that it will be Nashville showing a Canadian team how to do hockey? Nashville is hockey crazy right now and the Sens are struggling to sell out an Eastern Conference final game 6? Mind boggling.
