Lot will depend on his line mates in Las Vegas. He's a minimum 40-45 point guy given he'll play top 6 minutes, but more points are possible if the Black Knights acquire some decent forwards to play with him.

Assuming Vegas will be at the very bottom of the league we can compare them to Colorado of this year.
Colorado scored 166 Goals.
166 Goals divided by Ship and Duke = 83 Goals each
And since they can only assist each other right now that's another 83 assists each.
As per math and advanced stats, Ship will finish with 83 Goals and 83 assists, tied for team league with Duke.

Seriously though I don't see him topping 50 points.

This is where I am as well.
Yeah even players with known teammates have to deal with line combo adjustments and fluctuations in ice time. Nothing is certain either way. Plus we do have a general idea of the quality of players LV will have. It won't be pretty.

A top line of Shipachev - Radulov - Kovalchuk - I say he gets 57pts (and they finish above both Van & Col)
Without those two, 44pts.

Top line forwards on a bad NHL team (Vegas) have historically scored 45-55pts.
So, if Ship gets line 1 (PP1) TOI, that's where he'll fall.
There have been a few cases, though, of absolutely atrocious team scoring.
The expansion 2000-2001 Minnesota Wild were led by Scott Pellerin & 19yr old Gaborik scoring 39 & 36pts, respectively. *Lemaire team
(Though Pellerin actually put up 39p in 58gp)

But usually 45-55pts is the range.
CBJ's 2000-2001 team had Geoff Sanderson score 56pts and Espen Knutsen score 53pts.
Even Steve Heinze got 42pts because he was one of the more polished players:
http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/l...023302001.html
Andrew Brunette, 50pts and Ray Ferraro, 44pts were the Thrashers leading expansion scorers.
http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/l...017902000.html
Cliff Ronning, 53pts, and Greg Johnson, 50pts were the Predators leading expansion scorers.

Maybe our Russian parallel is that team's 3rd leading scorer, Sergei Kickeryerasoff, er... Sergei Krossyernameov... er Sergeri Killyercatoff, whatever... 48pts
48pts.
Final answer.

IR (2 max):
50 points sounds about right. He has the talent to put up 60 points or even slightly more but he needs good linemates for that.
Put my pure guess down at 51. You guys all make some good points though. What I'm most curious about is what kind of multi cat value might translate over?
